Who can Join?

To be eligible join you need to be unemployed, of a working age and live in one of the following communities (or the areas between them): Ollerton, Boughton, Clipstone, Bilsthorpe, Edwinstowe, Rainworth and Blidworth. If you are unsure if your area is covered, please just simply give us a call to check.

The programme involves physical work, so if you have a health problem that means it might be difficult, please get in touch with us to discuss it. The programme’s project officers will take into account volunteers’ individual capabilities when on-site (e.g. physical fitness) and ensure that work is tailored (as much as possible) accordingly.

Participation in Wild Sherwood will not affect any benefits you are receiving as our project is fully approved by the Jobcentre. You will just need to inform your Jobcentre advisor that you are planning to start volunteering with us.
